A Texas Not For Profit 501(c)(3) created to:

1. Provide High School aged female athletes the opportunity to participate in the organized sport of Lacrosse


2. Encourage a positive atmosphere where players learn to work as a member of a team


3. Foster a competitive atmosphere where all players are able to demonstrate the following characteristics which are more valuable to the team than individual abilities: Commitment, Determination, Focus, Honor, Character 


4. Foster regional and national amateur sports competition 


5. Contribute to our athletes preparation for success on and off the field 

Mission

  • Establish and sustain the sport of Lacrosse in the North Texas 
  • Support the growth of Lacrosse on a regional and national level 
  • Utilize sports education to develop traits of good citizenship in our   athletes in order to encourage a lifelong interest in youth sport   volunteerism

Seasons and Training

Spring - Typically three practices a week, 1 preseason tournament and 12 regular season games in preparation for State Playoff qualification.

Fall - Practice up to twice a week with multiple scrimmages and 2 Tournaments. 


Summer / Winter - Camp Allen


Practices are held at Lowery Freshman Center or other local fields as scheduling permits. Spring 2019 we are scheduled to practice at Ereckson Middle School upon completion of the new turf field!

Coaches

Head Coach Cassy Mahdi

Coach Mahdi played collegiate lacrosse for Thiel College in Pennsylvania, earning many accolades including, but not limited to, 2015 offensive player of the year for the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference and Team leader for 4 consecutive years in Goals and Draw Controls. Coach Mahdi is also an accomplished Diver, Basketball player, Cheer athlete.   


Assistant Coach Kate Davis

Coach Davis, an Allen High School graduate and three time AHS team captain earning All State accolades in 2014, played collegiate lacrosse at Hendrix and Southwestern University. In 2015, Coach Davis was second on the SU team in points and goals. In 2017 honors included but were not limited to IWLS offensive player of the week and ALL IWLS First Team selection. 

Assistant Coach Kelsey Mackin

Coach Mackin played collegiate lacrosse for Chapman University in California for 4 years, including their inaugural season. Coach Mackin served as recruiting coordinator and assistant coach for the program following graduation. Collegiate and HS honors include, but are not limited to, SCIAC All Academic, 2012 All American, back to back State Championships as a captain.

ALELC PLAYER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

ALELC Players Supporting the Growth of Lacrosse Locally!

High School volunteers are needed to assist the local youth program with practices Mon and Thurs from 5:30-7:00pm. Sign off for  volunteer hours will be available. Please specify the dates you are interested in and the best way to reach you in the message box so we can coordinate with the youth program on your behalf.  We would like to give the youth coaches 48 hours notice so they can include you in their practice plans. Thank you!

Self Start and Penalty Zone Webinar

October 15, 2018 | 8:00 PM EST

 On Monday, October 15, the Officials Development team is holding a webinar to give a general overview of the new Self-Start and Penalty Zone rules to be implemented in the 2019 Girls Lacrosse rules.  This target audience for this webinar is certified officials; however, it would be a good opportunity for you as a coach, player or fan to get an idea on how these rule changes will be implemented this year.  In addition to the rule definition and implementations being reviewed, frequently asked questions about both new rules will also be addressed.
